EPIC iO — Corporate Website Migration & Redesign
Transforming EPIC iO's corporate web presence from Wix to WordPress — building a scalable, secure, and accessible foundation for ongoing marketing and content operations.
Visual System & Brand Integration
A comprehensive look at the renewed visual language — unified iconography, accessible color palette, optimized layouts, and component consistency across the WordPress ecosystem.
Project Overview
The redesign of EPIC iO's corporate website required a complete migration from Wix to a fully managed WordPress environment hosted on a dedicated cloud server. I led the end-to-end process — from selecting, configuring, and securing the infrastructure to building staging and development instances for parallel iteration.
Once the DNS transition was completed and the data backup was extracted from Wix, I restructured the entire site architecture in WordPress, eliminating redundant code and improving performance. The existing Divi layouts were rebuilt in Elementor Pro, establishing reusable templates for all core sections to ensure long-term scalability and visual consistency.
Throughout the redesign, I introduced a unified visual language through a custom UI Kit — consolidating colors, typography, iconography, and spacing into a coherent design system. A new icon library replaced inconsistent legacy assets, improving brand cohesion and accessibility. Every page was optimized for responsiveness across devices, ensuring readability and proper hierarchy under multiple breakpoints.
Performance and compliance were key priorities. Using Google Lighthouse and GTmetrix, the site improved from an "F" to an "A" rating, achieving significant gains in SEO, accessibility, and best practices. Open Graph and structured metadata were added for search and social visibility. The site was also integrated with HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to support continuous marketing and analytics operations.
To ensure long-term maintainability, I implemented firewall protection, auto-updates, and scheduled backups, and delivered full documentation for the external team that assumed ongoing content publication. The final system remains stable, responsive, and aligned with accessibility and performance standards — a sustainable foundation for EPIC iO's digital presence.
